Gates and Wilson works, you can still start vs. crows

New York (AFP) – There is still a chance that Zach Wilson will open the season for the New York Jets under the center instead of the sideline.

Coach Robert Saleh said during the Zoom call that Wilson did some throwing on the field on Monday while testing his surgically repaired right knee, which he injured in the season opener in Philadelphia on August 12.

“He looked good and felt good,” Saleh said.

Saleh left the door open for Wilson, who could potentially start Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, returning less than a month after surgery.

“Yes, it is possible,” Saleh said.
