Oregon defeats Montana State 68-28; Nolan throws 4 TDs.

PORTLAND, Oregon (AP) – Nolan’s chance threw a 276-yard and four touchdown and Oregon remained undefeated with a 68-28 win over Montana State at Providence Park in Portland Saturday night.

Anthony Gould earned a pair of touchdown passes and returned another kick as the Beavers finished 3-0 to open the season for the first time since 2014.

Providence Park is usually the home of the Portland Timbers of the Major League Soccer and the Portland Thorns of the National Women’s Soccer League. Oregon State has not played in Portland since 1986.

Montana State has been using a two-middle system this season, with Tommy Millott and Wyoming Shawn Chambers moving in. Melott threw 101 yards with three interceptions, while running for 135 yards. Chambers ran for 35 yards and three touchdowns.

The Bobcats (2-1)—the FBS unbeaten since 2006, when they beat the Colorado current Pac 12 player 19-10—had a 63-13 win over Morehead State in Bozeman.
