Ray of odds and mini-champions: the seasons fade away

In August, Kyle Manzardo continued his rapid rise through the organization, reaching Double A in his first full professional season. Facing intense competition did not slow him down. In 23 games across two tiers, he led with 1,154 OPS thanks to five teammates, 12 additional base strokes, and more walks of strokes. Shin Sasaki was directly behind him with 1.148 OPS in 22 games, and also tied with the organizing lead with nine steals. Heriberto Hernandez comfortably advanced in the home run with a score of nine.

Anthony Molina was sharp in August. Although he was charged with 10 runs in 25 runs, only three were won. Hit 19 and only walked twice. After some early control struggles in Double A, Mason Montgomery only walked three and hit 23 by 26 13 August runs. Logan Workman joined Molina in a sub-2.00 slot on August 5 starts.
